2011 Mercedes Benz C300 4Matic - Modifications + Recommendations

Hey everybody!

I was always on this site, now that I got a Benz.
Anyway, I want some thoughts on how to make the C300 more "aggressive."

I'm Plasti-Dipping the rims tomorrow, going to put on about a can a rim.

As of now, only minor cosmetic modifications:

  • 20% Tint all around
  • 20% Tint film on tail lights
  • Plasti-Dipped sidemarkers.
  • Plasti-Dipped rims
  • Plasti-Dipped Grill

In the works:

  • HID Headlights
  • LED Eyebrow
  • LED Sidemarker lights
  • LED Dome lights

A few pictures:

Would appreciate any comments/opinions/review/etc..

Thanks

lowering, new wheels, black headlight housings and grill will start you off looking more aggressive. x pipe will make you sound more aggressive. not too much you can do with that motor to be more aggressive.

Im talking aggressive looks. I know there are no engine mods or anything yet, I'm not too much for speed. Sound and looks will work for me. But thanks for the ideas. Housings, grill, an lowering sounds good. Don't really want to drop a few grand on newer wheels. I do like the stock ones though so that does it for me.

Thanks for the Tips

Weird, I though 2011's came with blacked housings, at least most do.

Are you planning on blacking out the whole grill or leaving the chrome?

I apologize in advance for this naive question, but is the plasti-dip you want to put on the wheels removable? I always though that since it formed a rubber-like surface you could someday peel it off. If so that would be awesome!! Looks cool, protects your wheel and someday you can put it back to normal.

get a starless grill like the brabus one. jbspeed sells one that looks super aggressive. Im probably gonna be ordering one this week in carbon fiber. you can also do a front lip and a rear diffuser. a lot of people also do a quad exhaust set up.

No I they are almost smokedish or so.

Im planning on blacking out the grill and leaving the chrome. I saw someone on her had it, looks pretty badass!

And the Plasti-Dip is removable and thats whats good about it it is like rubber sort of. It does protect an if I ever want to return to stock silver I can just peel it right off. But my sidemarkers have lasted through a rain storm we just had and a drive through car was and I powerwashed my car today and they are holding strong! But if you scratch at it, it will peel so if you scratch pretty hard it will come off and look stock. So it's always a good way to go if unsure about how it will look. Good use for testing

And I like the starred grill. The brabus looks too plainish for me. But I am going to order carbon fibor diffuser and front lip along with roof spoiler. All AMG style. So that will also make it aggressive. And I like the quad exhaust idea. Sounds bangin!

I am glad you're leaving the chrome I think that looks amazing!

And that's really cool about plasti-dip, in fact I will definitely try that some day!

Quad exhaust is really nice, but I have had some trouble finding the tips specifically for the W204, at least online, I am sure if you're willing to pay a lot you can order then from the dealer.

Lips are cool, the only thing that bothers me it there is no continuance of the lip on the side skirts, and from a side view it seems like something is missing. Just my humble opinion, which may change.

Hah, I don't even have a C300 yet, hoping to get one within the next week!

From all the pictures Ive seen, it looks badass with the lips.

And yea I dont have too much to throw away on an exhaust. Might just leave it for now.
I might actually Plasti-Dip the exhaust. I saw someone with white C300 here on forums with Plasti-Dipped exhaust and it actually looks really clean!!

But the chrome does make it look bangin!

And try Plasti-Dip!! It works wonders!

And congradulations on your decision! C300 is the way to go! Many options and all the luxuries!

Updated the top post with a few pictures of the new painted Grill and the new painted wheels.

I think it turned out very well. These pictures don't do justice, and I apologize for the bad quality.

But tell me what you think?
