Personally, I'm not a fan of the "lowered" look. It looks like your shocks or springs are worn out or that you are carrying around about 1000lbs of crap in your car... Plus it makes the ride considerably "bumpier". However, I must admit, that when done right it CAN look good on SOME cars. It seems that aftermarket rims (that are wider and come near the edge of the fender) look good. But some people even take this too far (IMO) and stretch the tires and make it look ricey.

Am I the only one who doesn't seem to "get it"?

I'm not into the whole lowering thing either.. I've never understood the appeal - from a ride or visual aspect. Just not for me.

If it doesn't work out with whoever has the sale right now, I'll take them off your hand. I live in NJ but I'll be in San Antonio til September. If you want to work it out, PM me. I can have you meet my cousin or sister or something wherever in NJ. Keep me updated if they are still available!

Changing to 5mm spring pads does not level the car nor does it affect the ride. Camber is not affected, either, as I had it checked to be sure.

It just drops the rear a small amount, reducing the too high *** end a bit. I did this a couple of years ago.
