Its a tint but it's like a one way mirror. Doesn't change the brightness of the lights. Cost was 80 dollars.

In like the tint, the only thing I don't like is that now the reverse lights shine bright without being on...the contrast between the taillights and the reverse lights is alot...why didn't they tint the reverse lights too?

I need to show this shop by me this! They claim a film won't work because of the dips and shape. Looks great!

AKA - They aren't experienced or good enough to do this. It is actually quite hard to do this and have it end up looking good. Also, the chances of developing bubbles on a film tint on these tailights are pretty high (not saying its definitely going to happen, but don't expect perfection come 2-3 years from now).

I would say call around and ask different tint shops and bring to to one who says they can do it right off the bat and still stand behind it looking good.

The reverse lights were cut out to create a contrast (personal choice). I live in PA and this shop has customers coming as far away as Florida to get work done, the guy said they were a challenge and took him almost three hours to do. All work comes with lifetime warranty.

Don't get me wrong. What was done looks awesome. I'm not a big fan of smoked taillights and even though tinting does give the same effect I think that's really cool. Just personal preference. I just didn't know if there was a legal aspect is why the reverse lights weren't tinted. Anyways they look great man. Good Job
