Ive got 2 sets of brabus VI wheels, 18s and 19s. One set is full chrome (the 18s) and the chrome held up well with about 50k on the wheels on the first benz I had, but I also never used acid on wheels, always elbow grease and a power ball. The inside of the wheel behind the face out to the back has pitted so I seperated the wheels (XZN socket size 8) and sanded and painted teh insides they look good now. The 19s were all chrome and I split the centers and had them powdercoated black, left the lips chrome they look great. They have been on 4 diff MB cars of mine, including both my C's, but theyre getting tired too. 2 barrels are mint and 2 have slight marring, but u gotta look close. Im gonna dip them to strip the chrome and re powdercoat the barrels chrome color, the centers black again. It would be more money to polish the lips than chrome them or powdercoat them. Now yours are machine finish, not too bad. U could buff them out and re-clear them, or custom paint/powdercoat them, thats what I would do. Yours are 2 piece too right? Split them and re-do them, these wheels are timeless......
