WHOLE LINEUP OF 2012 C ON MBUSA
It does mention though that you need the multimedia package for Dolby 5.1.
This multimedia package thing is really weird.
I picked the C250 b/c I don't need the extra power from the C350. I have two cars that have well over 500hp, so an economical beater with great gadgets and options was more practical.[/QUOTE]
Makes perfect sense when you already have much more performance vehicles than a C350 would be anyway. I agree completely. I would love a C250 to drive to work too.

FYI, the C300's curb weight was 3560 lbs., so the weight difference between the C250 sedan and C300 sedan is about 130 lbs., which is a tad bit.

"sorry for jacking the thread"
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
"Spacious trunk
With XX.X cubic feet of space, the trunk of the C250 Coupe provides ample room for your groceries, golf clubs or luggage. "
I love having XX.X cubic feet of space. Definitely beats the competitor's YY.Y.

lol

So, you don't use the seat controls on the side of the seat (the controls that actually use to put the seat up and down, the seat back forward and back, etc). You have to use the circular plastic rolly thingy to adjust the seat as well. Its really big and definitely an eyesore. I'm not surprised Mercedes put it in any pictures of that ugly seat control on mbusa.com. Its similar to the one on the pre-2008 C class sedans.
The web site shows Sirius radio as a $460 option on the C350 when in fact it's a standard feature, or is it? I've already ordered a c350 and that's an important option I wanted (can't stand to listen to terrestrial radio commercials). The order sheet shows it as standard but why give your customers the extra concern. Slackness! Pass this along to them. I'm too old by their standards for Gen Benz.
I generally agree with what you're saying but I want to point out that the 7.1 sec 0-60 statistic is actually for the MY2012 C300 (straight from mbusa.com: http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicl.../bodystyle-SDN )
I'm not sure what the 0-60 for MY 08-11 is, but I think it should be lesser than 7.1 secs for non-4MATIC C300s.
Also, the '12 C300 4MATIC has packs 228 horses under the hood, while the C250 packs 201 horses.. that difference in performance will reflect in longer stretches, even though the C250 will be zippier from 0-60.
The main gain from choosing a new C250 over a new C300 (when 4WD is not a requirement) will the 21/31 mpg (city/hwy) vs 18/25 mpg.
That said, in layman terms, with a turbo engine there are more parts that can break.. (ok, so that's a very sweeping statement to make, but you get the point)..
I'm curious why these C250 turbo cars aren't labelled C250 KOMPRESSOR. Wasn't that the name used for MB turbos?
That term Kompressor is for their "supercharged" cars.....
I've seen your car in the mid 6 sec range for 0-60.
I recently talked with sales guy at local MB dealer, and he thought the C300 engine would be phased out in next 2 years.

I was there getting $7 part that will allow using a 205-55-16" spare for full speed driving if a flat occurs during a frequent, long trip.

Here's a pic:

Here's the thread I started on the C204 coupe forum:

And yes, it does have Logic 7.
