Lost partly power in drivers door

Hi,

I have a 2008 model which has been nothing but kind to me up until now. Yesterday I noticed that the power in the drivers door is missing, partly at least. The indicator light and the door lock works fine, but there is no power to the window buttons and not light to the light bulbs in the door handle bay and compartment bay. I have electric seats with memory and they do not work either.

I have been looking over the fuses but can´t find any broken ones. Do any of you have a map over the fuses or know which fuse is connected to the internal electrics of the door on the drivers side? Where else should I look?

I called my local Mercedes workshop to ask if they could have a look at the problem but they actually told me to take the car elsewhere. Not impressed. BTW, this is in Norway.

If you are mechanically inclined you can try swapping the window switches to see if the problem transfers. Double check the fuses.

Has the fuse diagram stored in with the tools been lost? Look inside one of the gloves.

Supposedly the fuse diagram is under the spare tire cover in the trunk. Here is a PDF of the fuses. May take a PhD in electrical Engineering to figure out though.

This is not as simple as it seems. I see that fuses for the front windows are in the front fusebox but fuses for the rear windows are in the rear fusebox in the trunk.

This may involve one or both SAMs or perhaps something in the door has become unplugged. Doesn't seem likely but it's worth checking if you can get the panel off. If you pop off the triangular panel at the front edge of the door, maybe you can see something.
