I am going to finance my first 2012 MB c250.
Yet, I just wonder if the lighting package and lane tracking package are worth.
Anyone can help me on this.
Thanks.

From what I've seen in photos, the lighting package on the C looks amazing. The new C shaped DRLs seem like a hit or miss with people on this forum. The standard halogens are now reflectors which I think is a downgrade from the current projectors. The styling just isn't for me. Some people like it and some don't. I think the lighting package is worth getting.

I assume the lane tracking package alerts drivers when the car is out of lane. My previous BMW 5 had that feature and it didn't help too much. It's most useful for night driving which I didn't do much of. It was just a cool feature to have.

i have heard that the lane tracking only if the lines are fresh and have a high contrast to the road surface. worn out line and its no good, and where i live that is ALL roads. I my have heard wrong, who knows.

lighting package is a must on an mb imo.

Lane tracking is def not worth it..if you know how to drive you will be fine...
I wanted the light package as well but to keep costs down i didnt get it...but as a bonus, the Nav is much cheaper now, which i got

I pick it up on Wed....Black on Black!
