Hey Guys,

I know some of you may have had a firmware upgrade that fixed the low volume issue for the AUX input. I believe this firmware upgrade is for the pre 2010 W204s. I am trying to get my dealer to do a firmware upgrade and they have no idea what I am talking about.

Can someone provide me with some details on the upgrade? Information such as the part number or the firmware version would be great.

Hi. I just had mine updated with the new map. And yes they wont update unless you give them a cause of a problem that is related to the command system. I just told them that whenever I put in any mp3 player on my AUX, the volume is too low and when I switch back to disc or radio everytime I have to turn the volume down which is annoying. You can also add that bluetooth ring is too loud sometimes and it will just keep on resetting back to a loud volume when you turn it down. Tell them that you know there is a "Boost" function on the AUX for the new command software and so you want to update it to fix the problem. It will take less than a day to get it done. I just picked up mine today! love the new "blue sky" on the navi!

BTW on my work order there are no software or firmware info. Hope it helps!

JCOnizuka, is your audio system the upgraded MultiMedia command system or is it the standard Audio 20?

I have the standard Audio 20

oops, sorry, didnt know you have the audio 20. Mine is the upgraded multimedia command system. So I dont think my info will help.

Im gonna have to take my car to the dealership cause I have this problem and I could never figured it why it was so low
