Or better yet, I always try to get the end spot. And then park diagonally, to get a glamour shot. haha.
Holy hell that space in your first picture looks huge to begin with. You could park sideways and still fit!

Exactly what I was thinking. They would fit two cars in there where I live.

Might just be me, but that black strip stands out more than one or two small dings would....

the strip/pads are applied only for parking, not driving. removable & roll up in trunk or back seat...

Makes more sense then. Probably not for me as I'm too lazy and will probably stick to parking further away and exercising my legs. Interesting idea though and best of luck.

seems like a great idea but I think it would be much better if it was clear so it blends in more. that big black strip draws to much attention to it (unless your car is black of course) which imho might cause someone to care even less about entering/exiting their vehicle or even "test" the products effectiveness. I do like how it is removable and only used when parking but what deters theft.

and in the parking topic I am 50/50 I try to park in wide secluded or corner spots as much as possible but after many dings and a small sized paint chip on my door handle I find myself caring less trying less to protect my vehicle, as no matter how much you care or baby your belongings the rest of society doesn't give a **** ....haters gunna hate

what the world needs is a porcupine security feature for your car where spike pop out when locking and retract when unlocked but of course there might be a liability issue or two lol

A few years ago I watched a lady in her fancy Hexus open her door and hit our Tahoe. I walked out of the restaurant and said you scratched and dinged my door. She rubbed it and said it's not that bad and started to walk away. I said Insurance info please. She kept walking. I said I was calling the police. That made her stop. I went into the restaurant and asked them to call the local police, someone dinged my car and is walking away. Next thing you know a firetruck and ambulance along with cop show up. WTF I just wanted a cop to get her info. After talking with cop I said I would buff out scratch and live with dent for 50 bucks. She said IDK I have to call my husband. A few minutes later Doctor so and so showed up and was pissed I made him leave his important job for a dent. I told him the same thing 50 bucks and I will walk away. Being the D1(k he was said no I will let insurance pay. So OK Minimum $100.00 deductible or $50.00. Got his info and took to a shop. They gave me an estimate of $175.00 to repair. He said Who do you want the check written out to, you or body shop. Guess who cashed the check? I have parked like everyone above since I bought the Tahoe in 1998. Always a jerk park next to you and dents door. If I have to park next to someone I always put my hand between my door and their car. With our new E350 I will be parking out far and watching you.

No doubt people pay little attention when parking... Feedback on this removable pad is that it actually causes others to notice and pay more attention when opening their doors. No reports of intentional damage to test it, or theft. BTW: it has a security cord that slips inside closed door.

Dents not a problem anymore. Get a handicapped plate or tag to hang from mirror. The wide hash marked spots are great now.
