I am new to this forum. So please point me to past links if this has already been discussed. I just bought a C300 with MM package. Unlike the 2012 model, it does not have a RVC already installed.

With a MM package, is it easier to install the RVC by oneself? Is it plug-n-play?

Short answer is it is easy, but you need patience.

it's a pretty easy install. Can be done cheaply and seamlessly via aftermarket parts

There are half a dozen threads on how to install a backkup camera. Do a search and you'll get a solid idea on the parts and tools you'll need as well as installation instructions. I've done it and it's pretty straigforward. Good luck!
