0-60 in 3.1 secs (anyone else?)
Bike #2, 81 Suz GS 750, came when the old T160 was cranky before a trip. It was my most comfortable & reliable of all rides at the time. Put about 15,000 miles on it before I sold it (bicycle riding was starting to dominate my time).
With both bikes, when agressive riding, I took curves Kenny Roberts style; Converse All Stars splayed out to feel the ground, body, head & butt hanging inward, with outer leg hooked to bike = FUN !
From DE, I (& buds) road to:
Sault Ste Marie, Michigan (white rock walls on road sides)
Montreal
Bar Harbor (Acadia Park), Maine
VT and NH, northern areas.
'Most All West Virginia (beautiful riding roads from the late Senator Byrd)
DE and NJ beaches
Outer Banks, NC
Blue Ridge Pkwy & Charleston, SC
Florida (trailered) for 3 Bike weeks
Two Rules to Survive, Nobody sees you, & You have no road rights.
Make sure younger riders learn the deliberate use of countersteer to tighten a big corner. Lost a friend's son because he did not understand that.
