A little winter prep!

So winters coming and based by the first snow we had Saturday it's going to be fun. I have a few questions..

When I switched my wheels to the new ones they took the TPMS from the old wheels. So now that I want to pick up snow tires I need new TPMS for my old wheels. Where can I find TPMS that work with the car that aren't incredibly expensive? Oh and any recommendation for snow/winter tires?

My second question is, should I be using Mercedes Pads and Rotors for replacement, or is there a recommended setup after changing from stock? Also, is changing brakes on the C300 any different then a regular car? I've changed brakes many times before(last week for instance) and just want to make sure.

Ohhh and one more thing. Driving home from work and had to snap this because I laugh about the false badge threads. Enjoy!

Haha yeah, it was awfully quiet for a V12... Anyway, anyone got any info around TPMS and Brakes/Rotors, etc??

Definitely recommend switching pads to Akebono EUR. 1340/1341 are the right part numbers for my C300 rwd...may be the same for 4MATIC. Great performance and essentially no dust. Bought them through Amazon.

def go with the akebono's, less dust. Rotors arent that much diff, some aftermarkets are the exact same as MB same company makes them too sometimes, go with price pretty much. U can find TPMS on ebay cheap, 433mhz is what u need, or go w new from tirerack, they have the same ones as MB oem in a diff color, made by schrader

Kept the OE rotors and just swapped out the pads. Rotors were in good enough shape, that the pads mated to the surface very well. The OE rotors are drilled in front and solid in rear.
