Renntech C250!

I actually find that I prefer E now and let the midrange torque do the work - I'll pop it to S if I have to make a quick getaway from a light or such, but stick it right back in E when I am done. Revving the snot out of it doesn't seem to make it much quicker.

Then again, I'm wondering if OBD2 diagnostics since 1996 prevents this scenario anymore by "knowing" exactly what boost the engine is seeing and would then crank it back down regardless of the wastegate. Or it could also throw a Check Engine Light (CEL).
Anyone know for sure?

I contacted JB, asking if they minimized retard when building boost at lower rpms. I had found that this is critical in tuning a turbo. They said they wanted to, but could not do it, so on the A-B dyno runs you can see they follow the same initial trace on the dyno chart. They basicly just changed the boost curve and richened the mix at wot.
Did Renntech say which ECU/CPU parameters they changed ?

Also as an update, I was told from a source in Renntech on another board, flash tunes for our cars basically won't be happening. CGI motors run a Siemens ECU, unlike the Bosch one used in the CLA, it's essentially unhackable. At the very least, not worth it for tuners to hack from the feedback I'm getting from many brand name tuners.

btw what is the estimate price and power gain
