Winter wheels question!
Im a newbie to the benz world and need to get some winter wheels asap. Im taking delivery of my 08 c230 on friday. I have the upgraded brakes (not amg) so I have to go 17". but I have been told by the dealer that the calipers poke out further then the standard issue calipers. The car has luxury and sport package. Sports package gives it the larger brakes im guessing. The ones that come with the 300 and 350 Sport package.
So steelies wont fit. any idea as to the range of offset I can go with? from my research the offset is 42-45mm. yes no maybe??
any help would be greatly apprciated.
Thanks

If the front calipers are identical to the C350 model, some 16" rims will fit.
Learn to search.
some offset info here:

Absolutely no question that 16" will work on a sport package C250 or 300. Tried, tested and true.

16" wheels will give a softer ride for sofies, and awsome winter tires, esp for a C-Class rwd. Just do your home work. Plenty of threads here.
