I didnt get the lighting package so I thought I'd try out the most high performance halogens I could find. I went for the Philips Xtreme power. Bottom line is that when comparing one OEM bulb and one Extreme power I could not see any significant difference and it appeared the stock bulb had a bit better light dispersion to the side. I'd say it was not worth the cost. I have to hand it to MB for the quality of their OEM bulbs in this most recent model of car. FWIW, the OEM was marked OSRAM and made in Germany. Thanks.
