If it gets really bad, then I will drive the Tundra. What I am trying to say is I will probably have to wait to buy the C350 while I can just go into the Lexus dealer and snap a IS350 right off the lot. I really do hate waiting and making choices like these. :/
Wait for what you really want. Anticipation causes appreciation to grow! RWD is much more entertaining than 4MATIC if you don't have severe winters. And, remember, there is a reason folks haven't bought out the inventory of those Lexi....Lexuses?

Give the Mercedes a try. I think you'll like it.

Lexus/Toyota does have impeccable reliability.

However, Mercedes reliability is strong again, and the cars are just made great. Look at taxis around the world, so many in Europe and other parts are Mercedes, and many have 200k kilometers or more on them.

Well don't get me wrong, any car can be reliable and any car can be a lemon, it just depends which one you buy. I am not so afraid of the C-class running to many repairs as many of you said as long as I keep up with maintenance. Also, I will say Lexus is a nice car and brand, I just want to have something else when we have family gatherings.

For the record, my Audi A4 was more reliable than my Honda Accord. So much for statistics...
Yep. My Tahoe has 75k on it and has never been to the shop. Can't say that for my CLS.

I've probably put 10,000 of the 36,000 miles on my C350 going over 100 MPH. The only repair I've ever had to make is a warranty valve issue with the air conditioning. Question for everyone who drives a C300 that is telling him to get springs, doesn't the C300 have taller springs from the factory than the C350? I seem to remember looking at the C300 and thinking it sat too high when I was on the showroom floor.

Dynamic Handling Package?

Jimmy, what is the Dynamic Handling Package that you mention. I don't see that option on the web when trying to "build" a new C350.

Does it really give you a switch for the suspension firmness?

The W204 is a much more reliable car, but it still doesn't have me convinced. I leased this one for the duration of the warranty - taking no chances!
its ok dude. my w203 sucked *** as well. What manufacturing year you had attributed a great deal to the electrical problems. My entire electrical system died on me once when I floored it from on a green light to do a rough measure of my 0-60. Since this was at night my car went dark and caused me to go into a miniature cardiac arrest until I finally got home (luckily was only 1-2miles away and got the electrics back on. my airbag module was fried though. Cost a pretty 1.5k to get it fixed
