C350 Saks Fifth Avenue Edition
I am an insurance marketing rep. I busted my a$$ after college to get a job where I could afford a benz. When I was in college i drove my parents hand me down camry. Then I graduated and leased the new jetta, then another jetta, then I bought a saab 9-3 aero, traded that for a lincoln mkz which lasted three months before i traded it for a B6 Audi a4 ultrasport. I sold that when i got a company car last year, then finally gave in and bought myself the w204 for the weekends. I think my next car will be the new 5 series, unless something cooler comes out.

I too am blown away at the number of college kids that have this car. That is simply amazing. I had a $600 acura integra when I was in school. Drove it like a C63 let me tell you that much. Best of luck to you recent college grads that are looking for jobs. I know it is not an easy market for you guys. And to my IT people. It's good to see a few of you on here.

I also work in the Production Field
I been working multimedia Production shows for about 5 years now. Am a lighting designer to say the least. AND YES this job field is the best, nothing like having a career you love and not a job you have to go too.

So was your firm shut down by the feds?
That's really awesome though, you did that while in college? I'm assuming you stayed home for college? I'm going to be going away to school next year but almost want to stay home just for that reason. I'm just suprised you were able to have such a job so young, I guess you passed series seven and maybe had some connections with the firm? I'm thinkin of going away for 2 years and then transferring and finishing up at home at Hofstra.
Now I'm a valet parker on the weekends, the money is pretty good for a high schooler and I get to park a lot of nice cars here on LI which is what I really love, just parked a new C250 coupe last weekend

Middle management in the United States Army, Drill Sergeant, leader of men, Infantry Sergeant First Class. Took is 17 years to afford a nice car and then I traded one with fun and no top to the W204. Still fun but much more room and a moving transmission shifter.

I am 31 years old. I am also a college student........but wait....I am working on my Masters Degree, I have my own business, and I work full time.
I am the owner of the eBay Store AggressiveOverlays.com and have been designing and selling overlays for over 6 years. This was a hobby that I dabbled in that quickly became a great business.
I work full time for the State of Connecticut as a Construction Engineer and Project Manager. Basically all the renovation projects I design, I also manage.
Lastly, I am on my second C300. I purchased my first in the end of 2007 when they first came out. At that time, I worked for Hamilton Sundstand as an Apache Helicopter fuel controls Tech.
Previous cars: 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe, 1993 Mazda RX-7 Twin-turbo, 1977 GMC Jimmy w/ fully built 350, 6 Inch lift and 35" Mud Terrains(Highschool)

I actually go to Hofstra now, its a pretty good school, but expensive. Luckily I get a 75% ride with scholarships. But your idea to go away and have fun and then finish up here is definitely a good idea. Cheaper, and you get to have a "real" college experience and still get a relatively good degree.
Chances are you are going to go away to Albany or Oneonta or something, flunk out, take a few semesters at Nassau Community College and then transfer into Hofstra (all Nassau's credits and classes directly transfer in).

Good thread guys. I'm impressed by the level of maturity shown in this thread. People are actually giving great responses and not making up stuff riddled with crass jokes (if you want to see that, look at the thread that asks the same question on OT).
I'm an attorney. My undergraduate degree is in the same as tpdietz.
