Entering an address from a phone contact to Navigation

I imported all of my contacts from my HTC EVO 4G to my 2008 C300. My COMAND was updated two weeks ago to the newest version.

I look at my contacts, and I have addresses stored in their contact info. When I pull the address on the screen, and go to "Other", I see where I can click on "Navigate" however it is greyed out.

There is no cross reference to contact addresses from the "Navigation" menu, only from the "Phone" menu.

Does anyone know if this is an issue with my COMAND, or the way the info was imported from the phone?

BC, you're not alone. Same problem; no solution. (I responded to a similar prior post at https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...vi-vcards.html). My contact address are valid and complete, yet not recognized as an address that can be navigated to. (iPhone 4>Outlook>vcards>PCMCIA/SD)

However, if I add an address into Command manually (rather than importing a vcard) and enter the exact same address, it CAN be navigated to. I've spent many hours testing, guessing, googling, .... No joy.

Too bad. This feature works in our 2012 GLK 350. By voice command even. I start from Navi and use the person's name as it appears in the address book. Works like a charm.
