Yes they wil, but Kleemann is 100 % positive and think he wants user experiences .

c200 kompressor
i am using the kleeman k box in my c200 and i am very satisfied.the dyno shows 210 hp and 29kgr of torque.
in c 180 you will gain only 10-15 hp max, but no gain in torque because the boost kit for c200 includes crank pulley wheel and fuel regulator.
c180 has different pistons and kleeman dont risk to put crank pulley.

But happy that there are people atm that have it installed and are happy with it.

Miloc, whats your dyno numbers before and after the k-box?

I'm guessing that kleemans numbers are quite optimistic

From kleemans website
K-Box kit for C 180 Kompressor (S204-M271) This boost kit fits on all cars with the 1.8 litre kompressor engine, and raises power from 143/156 HP up to 193/200 HP and the torque goes from 220/230Nm up to 275/290 Nm.
The kit consists of a K-Box and a high-flow air filter.
So mine, as it is the 156 version gets up to 200HP.. with only ECU tuning.. I'm not really convinced but if it's true I like it.

No way. It's an UP TO figure.

If you take 2 same C180K , one will have 156hp stock and some will have + 156hp stock , depends on diff. thinges. No engine is the same. So some will may be reach 200hp but than you are lucky.

And the results they are showing are a bit high in my opinion. When i had my C180K i have searched all over the world for dyno figures for the C180K with K-Box , but never found

If the figures are real 200hp , im sure someone would post this.

I know from my experience that the

Sh*t iPhone

Headers and downpipe they have will give you power and a better performance ... Hasnt got it dyno-ed but it feels faster and better performance over the whole rpm range.

Was the best mod on my C180K

if your car is a kompressor u will see huge HP increase. the tune and higher boost makes a big defference compared to normally aspirated cars

Petje, yeah I kinda figured..
I wonder if I can make them give me a minimum HP raise limit when using the box so I can get a full refund if I don't get the minimum promised HP increase..
Wishfull thinkin I Guess

The 795 EUR pricetag takes a good chunk of my monthly paycheck :p

Not by the 180, only if you change the pulley you can get a big difference, but thats not included by the 180 kit, only for the C200K .

Because the difference in pistons and compression between the 180 and 200, you cant fit the pulley on the 180

Its difficult to tune the C180, and you get no big increaae without changing the pulley

Thats what i say, so the gain is 24 hp and not 44hp that Kleemann wil like you to believe.

If your car has 176 hp stock than you can reach 200hp with only the K-box.

And most stock cars has more hp than Mercedes say.

The K-box is the same like the tuning boxes for the CGI engines, they fool your ecu ...

If you really want more power you have to change the kompressor pulley.

Dont get me wrong, i am a Kleemann fan, but the figures are to high...

I think, that you guys misunderstand the concept of BHP and WHP there is no way you guys would Know what the BHP on a car is after a mod, the HP figure that the factory gives you is the BHP figure, this does not take in account the 15-20% loss of hp from the engine to the wheels. So If you take in your car that is rated at 176 BHP from the factory your actuall real horspower to the wheels is 149 whp. So I am confused on how you got these numbers? If you where dynoed and it gave you around 200 whp you actually had a bump of around 51 WHP. So how did you come up with these numbers.

No i dont misunderstand, i know the difference between BHP en WHP.

We are discussing about the gain of the Kleemann K-Box.
They claim up to 44 BHP with this.....

So these figures i mention are an example.

But how did you come up with a bhp estimate did you pull the engine out and have it Dynoed at the Mercedes Factory? Thats the only way to get a accurate BHP figure.

c180 kompressor
Hi to all,

I am thinkinh of installing kleemann k box without the K&N airfilter because I saw on the net that it does not protect sufficiently the engine. What do you think?
Has anybody installed and used kleemann kit (without the pulley) to give me some feednack?
