Warranty Expiration
Does anybody know how I can find out when my standard warranty and my CPO warranty expires ?
EPC shows a delivery date of 12/3/2008. What does this date represent ?
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks,
Nick

Here in Canada, and i can imagine most places. The first date of the car being registered with dmv. Is the official date when warranty starts. A carfax should tell you that. But be aware of date, my last Car was registered by the dealer, driven for 600km's (guessing test drive car) than sold 5 months later to a customer. The first date was recognized by manufacturer not the sell date to first owner. Hope that helps. good Luck

If 12/2008 was the original in-service date, your original factory warranty is thourgh 12/2012 or 50k miles. If the car is a Certified model, your warranty is thorugh 12/2013 or 100k miles.

I just called the place where I bought my car.
Standard warranty is up 6/2/2012. CPO is up 6/2/2013.
If I want to extend another 2 years ( up to 135k mi ) its $2640.
So, the delivery date that shows in EPC does not represent the in service date.
FWIW...
Thanks,
Nick
