trade in values of '10 models?

trade in values of '10 models?
So I love the C, but am currently mulling the possibility of trading up to an E. Now that the '12s are out, ive been told that the values of pre-facelifts are dropping, to the low 20s. I paid low 30s for my well equipped '10 (see stats in sig) middle of last year. Is it really down 10k after just 6 months?

It's true that the price of 2010's goes down because of the recent facelifts. If you check out the used 2010 C's price on cars.com or autotrader, you will see the price actually goes down than before.

extra options do not add much value for a trade in, but i'm sure you can still get at least 25,000 for your car if you do decide to TRADE it in. don't forget that it is now a 2 year old car and has gone through a minor change with the LED DRL and then the 2012 facelift.

25 is what i was aiming for, or more if im lucky. I've reached out to a few dealers to help me find a E class to replace it with, and Fletcher Jones told me that they are buying Cs at this point for around 20....which is much lower then i expected, while another dealer said 24-26.....
