GREETINGS from Aviano Air Base, Italy! PICTURES INSIDE :D

So after being away from my car for all of USAF Basic Training, Tech School, and the first month and a half on my first duty station... it finally arrived from the states to Aviano! I should probably thank the Military POV transport for getting it to me relatively fast and in good condition lol (I was worried since my car was on the boat for over a month).

Anyway, the day after my car arrived I brought it up to the mountains that are 20mins away from my base. Got some awesome pictures even though I'm not the best photographer :P Never thought I'd be taking pictures of my car in the middle of the mountains in Italy.

so without further ado...

The night I picked her up Legit euro plates

my favorite picture

Hopefully all the pictures work. Cars not really clean but then again it just came off the boat and the only thing I got for it was a free cheap gas station car wash from the Mili POV company

And I was also kinda upset about the fact that our cars (or atleast 08 models) don't have km readings on our speedometers... Don't most US spec cars have it under the mph readings? Even my friend's Accord who just got here has it. Luckily I found the digital setting for kph but it's annoying cause it's kinda small and is where I'm used to looking at the temperature reading. Anyone know if I can change the main digital mph display in the center to read kph?

our cars actually do have km speedometers. you have to active it through the dash computer. i have an 08 too and it took me a while to find out how to get it but check it out its a 2nd speedometer.

Nice you see Europe through the eyes of a Euro owner even though you are from the States. Have fun over there and drive safe.

Very cool pix! Love the one with your Jersey tag leaning on the tire! Many of those pix look brochure worthy.

Yeah I think I found that option but still kinda disappointing there is no actual display under our mph -_-

It was through American Logistics (I thinkt hat was the company's name) it's over in Edison. But they shipped POV's for military personnel for free as long as your military orders allow you to have one with you. It was on a boat the hwole time, not in a container just in a giant boat parking lot lol.

LOL, I tried to keep it in my windshield but all the people here tell us not to draw to much attention that we are Americans. Slight issues with vandalism outside of the gates apparently...
