So, i got my bumper off atm to put in H7 HID kit from Mike. All of my searches have confirmed that i need H7 but looking at the diagram that is on the box, H11 is the right one.

Can anyone advise me please on what i need to do. I can take more pics if needed.

If your talking about putting in fog lights, where exactly are your stuck on? Mounting the bulb itself? From what I remember on my c300, you need to get an aftermarket base that is hollowed out. But you can, if you dare to.. drill out the factory base, then buy something to create a seal in the hole around the wires.

Other than that.... you maybe speaking of another matter and what I typed is irrelevant.

my original socket it a plastic piece with a yellow rubber seal and is not exposed contacts like the h7 shows... for some reason or another my car is looking like its h11.

so bumper is back on and no harm done but kinds sucks bacause i have been waiting for moths to do this.

what bulb size was the original that you took out?

bulb is h7 kit is h11. ill need to exchange. **** what a waste of a half day.
