Not a good idea. Most A/M projectors have horrible light output.. hot spots etc etc. Your better off shipping your OEM headlamps out.

I don't know, they look good, but I did aftermarket headlights similar to that on my Audi and they looked good, but didn't perform as well as the stock ones and the adjustment screws were cheap and never really worked. There is a reason that the ebay ones are so much cheaper than the stocks. Well, besides the "stealership" prices. With all the quality mods you have done to your car I wouldn't want to see you f it up with cheap lighting. Good find though.

Plus is says "Wiring Modification Needed To Connnect The L.E.D Wiring On Some Items, Base Electronic Knowledge Required"

on top of getting the headlights you will have to get the wiring set up which is going to cost u a bit on top of it unless you can do it yourself but overall like i said it looks plain most definitely staying with oem headlights

These could look good, however I dont like the fact that the turn signal housing is chrome and not black housed as well. Kinda throws it all off. Still would be cheaper to do it yourself or at your local shop.

I wouldnt mind getting these and modding them even further myself. So I can always sell the car with the OEM ones. Retrofit S2000 projectors and finish the black housing up. HmmmmMMmm... I shall ponder this =D

I'm pretty sure you would be able to do it yourself if you decide to go that route, if not hit me up I would be down to help. Wanna meet up w/ you eventually anyway after all the pm's. Might have the cops show up on your lawn again though.

This is what I thought as well. It'd look better and more uniform if the turn signal section was also blacked out, although I understand the design/safety reason behind signal reflectors.

A bit more info I just found out. Those are actually Spyder headlights. Spyder has been in the aftermarket headlight game for a while and I've seen their products on a lot of other makes and models and taken a close look at the quality at SEMA.

Coincidentally enough, I was contacted by them to come and do a test fit which I'll be doing this weekend and see if we can offer any suggestions on improvements. I'd like to think I have a decent feel for the pulse of the w204 aftermarket audience, but will poll the community to see what they think after I test it out.

I tend to agree that the LED strip is kind of redundant with the eyebrows. Removal of the side turn signal and utilize the strip as an LED turn signal would make it much nicer and cleaner imo. That was what I was going to suggest. Or maybe keep the lower LED strip and utilize the eyebrows as a turn signal?

I find it weird the opinions in this thread are more "negative" so to speak but then we've got another thread with the exact lights that's getting praise?

they are nasty the way they come... but im buying them from the group buy to mod them in a cleaner format vs messing up my OEM ones trying =D

- Black the turn signal area
- Make the LEDs a little more hidden from reflections
- Retrofit s2k projectors
- Use eyebrows as turn signals (or completely delete them)

Im hoping for a cleaner look when they are done.

They are a lot easier to manipulate with all the wires exposed behind the unit to play around with reconfiguration. We already beat the design to death in the initial product review thread on these when SPYDER was looking for recommendations and already said they would explore a redesign in the future taking our comments (which they were monitoring) into account. Until then, it's fairly easy to make cosmetic mods to to it. They used silicon glue to seal the unit which is easy enough to cut or bake open.
