Painting stock 17" 5 spoke wheels

So I have the stock 17" 5 spoke wheels and I absolutely HATE them, but when I bought the car none of them had the 18"s which I could live with. However I can't afford new wheels AND tires, so I am looking to make them black, because I'm sick of these baby wheels.

That said it is a small wheel...and black makes things look smaller. Anyone paint/plasti-dip their 17" 5 spokes before? I know I saw a picture of a pair painted black, but I never saw installed pics. Any one have pics of them, preferably on a black car?

Will do it and post photos if someone knows of some good yes/no photographs of it done.

I'm a student with a part time job lol. My car cash is already going towards custom exhaust as summer is coming and the windows are going down. If I had the $ I'd grab the 5 spoke C63 reps in 18 or 19 and throw some decent rubber on there (all time favorite wheels EVER), but this is not really an option right now unfortunately.

And don't worry lol Ill be using plasti-dip with their new glossifier over it so not only will it look identical to powder coating, but if it looks like total ish...off it comes!

yeah don't paint them.. or powder coat them.. if you really want them black.. use plastidip.. $10 for 2 cans and you're done.. but be aware.. stock wheels will still be stock wheels.. get some spacers for $200 is what i would do if i had to stick with stock wheels.. flush > size

I agree they could look alot nicer if they were flush (plus i have springs waiting to go on...when I enither have the cash or make a friend that can do it haha), however if spacers cost $200, I couldn't justify doing it considering thats 1/3rds the cost of a set of replica wheels.
