Fuel Filter location on 2008 C-300

Fuel Filter location on 2008 C-300
I have removed the ABS panels that run the length of the car looking for the fuel filter. Anyone know for sure where the external (Hastings GF370) 4hose filter is located?

I did not intend this to be a trick question. I am a preventative maintenance advocate and when I saw in an online parts supplier a "fuel filter for a 2008 300C Mercedes I bought it. When I went to change it and couldn't find it I made my post. Joke was on me the filter for a 2008 300C is in the tank and is not recommended for change or service until 143,000 miles. Should be fun getting a refund...report to follow
