Installed X-pipe and quad tips
What a difference that X pipe makes! I love the sound, recommend this to everybody

hey. in order to install the xpipe you'd have to cut out the resonator right? would i be about to pass smog without it? cuz california and their smog check crap is pretty strict now.

For Do Not Cut your Cats.
You Should pass emissions. In Canada our emission laws are pretty close to Cali ones. I deleted my res. On a SS trailblazer Ls2 motor and it passed. But cutting your mufflers also IDK if it will pass.
Do the xpipe mod. I Will Very Soon. OP sounds good BTW.

Thank you guys! NOT deleting the second cats! Never even thought about it! I love how it sounds cause when you drive normal(under 3k RPM) you can barely notice the sound, but once it hits 4k RPM, the back of me neck starts to tingle a bit!
There is no drone at all!!! Putting an X-pipe on the 550i soon too, can't wait to see how that'll sound! Hopefully it'll sound something closer to the C63 but I doubt it

I deleted my resonator and put an X-Pipe and deleted my secondary cats and put straight pipes and my car doesn't drone at all unless you decide to push it and drive at high RPM's. I've gone to Euro car meets in the tri-state area and also to local meets and people are always asking me what kind of muffler performance system I have cause it sound great and I just tell them what I did and they can't believe it. Until you don't hear personally like JLee you really don't know. I know if you delete the mufflers it does drone alot and my car still passes for inspection cause is the secondary cats not the primary cats.
