Correct aspect ratio for backup camera - 16:9 or 4:3?
Hi guys,
I've been going through all the backup camera retrofit threads, and think I'm just about ready to take the plunge on the install for my 2012 W204.
One of the questions that I have not yet seen posed has to do with the proper aspect ratio for the camera. Looking at the Sony XA-R800C, the specs say 16:9, while every other cam I've looked at is 4:3 (including the Kenwood CCD-2000 and all the Pioneer units). Has anybody tried the Sony cam to see if it looks correct (that is, not too skinny or chunky) on the 16:9 7" S32 COMAND screen?
