So i had the check the right tail/break light come on while driving home last week. went home and the next morning i got into the car to go buy a new bulb and the check right tail/break light had gone away. I'm not talking about pressing ok button so you don't see it again. I'm talking about it went away.

Today on my way to pick up my little one from pre k the light went off again!

any thoughts? i do have a powerful sound system with 2 amps etc. i've had the system for a year so i don't think it has anything to do with it.

any electrical issue? I'm assuming the bulbs are good. i'll check them later but i am very sure they are good.

First step would be to check if the lights are actually working or not while the dash light is on. If not, bulb could be faulty on and off - If the lights are on while you get the message - I would suggest letting the good old dealer check it out - should be covered...good luck.

I just checked all the bulbs. They are all good. I then checked to see if they light up N they do.

N the damn check right tail/break light is still on.

try swapping bulbs from left and right side and see if you still get the check right tail light or if you now get check left tail light. If it's left, chances are you have a bad bulb. If it's still check right, you might have a wiring harness issue and should take it up with the dealer.

Also if it does shift to the left, you can use the reverse bulb and swap out the individual tail bulbs to see which one is the offender. The reverse bulb is the same 1156 as the other tail bulbs except for the 7507 signal bulb, but that's not the error you're getting and reverse bulb error is different than the tail bulb out error.

yeah did the swap. there was something wrong with those two bulbs. even thought they lit up. they were pretty burned out from the one side.

got new ones and some spare ones. its all taken care of now.

thanks
