Cup Holder Trim

I vaguely remember long time ago in a forum post far far away there was a discussion regarding the chrome trim around the cup holders. I know some folks got theirs replaced under warranty, but how about anyone else? I wouldn't mind finding a carbon fiber replacement of some sort. I found an e-bay site but it looks like stickers of some sort, and I wasn't really looking for stickers.
Thanks,
Matt

If not under warranty and you don't like stickers either just take it all off or do the euro upgrade which looks amazing!!!! Which is on my to do list one day

Yeah I see that we can get that. Lots of the links are very old. I'm going to have to poke around and see if I can find some "active" links. The project looks fairly easy to do.

I did the euro console upgrade and frankly regret doing it. I thought the roller cover and stitched armrest looked very cool as a nice complement to my C63's interior but the first day i had a passenger with two cups of coffee it just didnt work. the two drinks sit so close together that its useless as a cupholder. I also found that i would never shut the roller cover for safety/security reasons, so i always had it open. So, in the end, the only use i got out of it was the look of the stitched armrest. Just my two cents.

If the chrome trim cant be replaced under warranty the entire top plate cover is available as a part, i dont remember it being too expensive.

I'm considering taking it off, sanding it down with some light sandpaper and painting it black maybe.
