C300 4-Matic Sport

This happened to me several times randomly through my year of ownership of my 2010 C300 Sport. It seemed to just be a glitch, as shutting the car off and putting it back on would fix the problem. The display didn't NOT turn on, but it was flickering and the Benz logo would appear and nothing else.

2008 C300

Im having the same issue on my 08 C300. Screen completely blank and radio works. Pulled out the screen unit and checked connections and both fuses. I will pull out the head unit and check connections and fuses.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. I hope you still have the car or fixed the problem saw this post is kinda old. So.... Who knows. But if you ever figured it out let me know i'm going through that issue myself.
