I feel like if anything, to those who want to do that, just go out and by some blue lamin-x and cut a piece just along the bottom so that it shows up whiter/bluer. I don't think it'll be that noticeable But then again, I haven't done it personally, so my OCD hasn't had the chance to scrutinize if needed.

When would be a good timeframe to expect pictures of the new projectors? cutoff/output pictures?

Don't know. They're working on the retrofit as we speak, but I don't expect to see anything till I get my hands on it and take my own pictures. It's not like they're going through this whole cost and effort to put on inferior projectors compared to the ones already on there, so there should be big enough improvement to warrant the change.

one of the things that i wanna do to these lights is to open it and paint the low bean ring to like silver or something .. to make it kinda look like a chrome ring...u think we can open these lights like we normally do to the oem ones?

is this all just plug and play meaning all original bulbs/adapters will snap right into the new lights?
I have HIDS for my C300, do i just unclip the bulb and snap them into these babys?

sealed with silicon so you can cut/bake it open if you wish to modify.

They come with bulbs already and are completely plug and play. You can easily transfer your HIDs to these (as I've done).
