You can purchase HID kits through any of the other vendors here on this site. We are probably stepping away from the HID business due to legality and regulation issues with Department of Transportation.

In regards to the HID kits, I'm guessing the department of transportation's been troublesome, but on March 30th, he posted 5 sets of 5000k HID kits for sale. My guess is they're possibly sold out now, but I'd ask him again to be sure.

yeah, those 5 HID kits have been sold out. We announce new shipments via our facebook page. HID kits will continue to trickle in, but due to US Customs and Department of Transportation crack down on HID vendors and distributors stateside, it's going to be hard to get kits in large shipments as they get seized at port of entry.
I was planning on getting a few more daytime shots this weekend for you all.

It's technically illegal to make any modification not from factory to your headlight low and high beams. Department of Transportation isn't going to go after all of you consumers though, but they're focusing their enforcement efforts against vendors and distributors by seizing shipments at port of entry. Really ramped up enforcement in 2011. I can get a few kits in here and there, but no more freight shipments which means HID kits will be sold on first come first serve basis as announced on our facebook page.

Will the Spyder headlight kit pass safety check? Do the housing have the SAE/DOT stamps on them? I really want a pair, but Hawaii is pretty strict with reconstruction permits and safety inspections.

yes, the SPYDER headlights are DOT approved and have the required stamps. That's why they can't implement some of the changes we want or else they'd lose the DOT approval.

Just curious, is there a warranty with these? If so, what are the terms? Just concerned if something were to go wrong with the LEDs, since they're non-replaceable.

There aren't any as I have the only one released from what I understand. All other stock was sent back to get fitted with better projectors.

If I lived in the states, I would of joined the GB.
Unfortunately, I live in the UK and delivery would be a joke.
So have brought these at £360 including next day delivery from a UK supplier.
The headlights I have brought are exactly the same as the GB going on atm.
I will get these fitted ASAP, hopefully by the end of the week.
