Don't remember exactly where or what is said, but I was reading in the O.M. the other day, and I believe it was mentioning how to reset them or what has to be done or something.
But I would MOS DEF take it to the dealer... that would suck if you have a short or something that is detecting a rear impact collision.... Next time it could be the Air bags!!! :o

the headrest poping forward is a safety feature when you get into an accident to prevent whiplash. I think a sensor might be misaligned to cause your car to think you just got hit when you came to a STOP. Maybe from your previous accident everythign is not placed/alligned back correctly.
I was told when I bought my C350 that you need to go to the dealer to reset it.
anyone else?
