DYI: 08-09 New Style Mirror Conversion - the easy way!
I've read lots of write-ups on how to swap mirror covers for the 08-09 w204. "My way" literally took me less then 20min both sides including taking pictures. Note: This way will not let you hook up the puddle lights, which as you know from the other write-ups, requires the removal of the mirrors from the doors in order to feed the wires through. I may or may not install the puddle lights down the road so for now, this way is the fastest way to enjoy the face-lift mirrors.
I bought the Carbon fibre covers from 55tech. SUPER FAST shipping and great customer service![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

1. Push mirror back and pry the mirror off using both hands. You'll need a little force to pop the mirror off it's mounting bracket.

Unplug wires for heated and auto-dim (if equipped)
