2012 LED DRL control?
is it possible to turn LED on/off manually without using 'A' ?
LED DRL dims once headlight turns on....
I wish I could use LED DRL as a real fog light....

They dim so you don't distract other drivers at night.
They are not fogs and this design will never be they do not project a usuable amount of light.

yeah, i found that odd too... because sometimes it's just cloudy and the headlights come on, but you don't need them. the button to the left of the knob should control it completely separately from the headlights. dumb design, just like the auto wiper function, in my BMW you press a button so when you turn off the car the auto wiper function turns off too, but in the benz you physically turn the wiper switch and it stays on next time you get in the car.

'11 C350 '13 F150 lariat
I rewired my 2011 to keep them full bright all the time, works good at night gives off some lights like a fog light. and also if you click the wipers just one click ahead they work as auto wipers and speed up w more water flow, my previous08 and my 2011 both have/had this.........your 2012 doesnt?

What I mean is when ur wipers are completely off position, like all the way back to you, you click the knob which kinda rotates one click (1 position) forward, and that leaves them in AUTO mode. whenever it rains they come on automatically and speed up w more water, all automatic. Not sure how they are in the 2012's, u guys still have the rotate knob for wipers or something different?
As for the LED's I just used a relay setup and run 12v to them all the time, not very complicated, just choose your trigger wire on the relay according to how u want them to come on. Theres tons of my posts in the LED DRL thread and u can search google for how to wire relay, its very basic auto electrical, 99% of everything in a vehicle is on a relay system. Its very bright at night, I love it....

2012 does have auto wipers. you were right. 1 click forward, it works. I found out that there is a sensor on windshield near rear view mirror mount.
I don't think my parents 2011 C300 4 matic has it. I drove it a lot before and never found it out becuz I always use auto wipers on my lexus. so I thought my 2012 don't have it.
I will try that LED mod when I get my HID ^^

I dont think I saw that on the list of options and my sales said that I gotta buy more options ex) pkg2 to have it, so I thought it didn't have it

honestly I think every w204 at least US has it, I worked on a barebones 300 a few months ago and it had it and the car had NO options, was a 4matic 2009. so I think if u check the parents car its there.....
