Neglecting a W204

My apologize in advance for posting a link from a different MB forum but this must be seen:

Don't neglect your cars and learn how to do things right or pay someone to do it. Cars are not toys

Oh, wow! That is a sad picture, indeed. I'm surprised the car got 100k+ on it in this shape. Why would anybody buy an expensive car, or any piece of equipment for that matter, and just ignore it like this?
Just tell the owner it is unfixable and to go buy a little scooter instead. Jeez!

my wife bananas! :D
poor car indeed. But what a vehicle the W204 is. 47k miles over service limit and it obviously still runs... made it to the shop lol.

If i was the guy, I would take my friend aside and tell him ..'look, you taught your son to drive... now teach him the necessity of following a service schedule'
