The super aggresive wheel thread
Okay guys, it seems that us Mercedes W204 owners have been lacking a little imagination on our wheel offsets. 45mm rear offset is not agressive at all. I know a few guys on here are running some low 30mm offsets in the rear of there cars with a little modification to the fender. If the Subaru guys can run high 20 offsets by just rolling the fender there is no reason we cant. Keep in mind that the STIs run about a 50mm offset all around already. So if your aggresive post up not looking for anything over 40mm offset.
Thanks John

My plan was to stretch and poke hard but I'm not willing to cut my car apart to get the stance I was looking for or rub on every bump or turn. Godspeed to anyone willing to do it the fenders on our cars are difficult to say the least.

Not enough to roll on the rear. Has to be cut and repainted to be done right. I just can't bring myself to do it to this car. On my Audi's I rolled and pulled the fenders BIGTIME but I just can't do it to a Benz. BUT! Now you have me rethinking my decision

Take a look at all the guys running these aggressive offsets, they don't know how to drive their cars with stretch and poke. They all have fender damage. I'd rather have a clean flush car than a damaged stanced car.

Havent done anything yet, just waiting on some info to decide how low of a offset I can go. Have my heart set on some CCWs but a 2 inch lip in the rear is not going to do it on those rims. Im thinking I can go as low as 35 but I am not 100% sure. Just got to figure out how much poke is there going to be at that offset. I dont want to run mad camber to make them fit,

Definitely! Well, not a better fit but a different fit. You can run a 40 series tire with much more stretch to clear the fender and have more poke while retaining the overall tire height. 18's were an option but the 19's look perfect. The 18's looked too small IMO. These cars scream for 19's!
