Yup... I've seen all three. I'd debate any performance gain of the K&N's, X-Pipe adds to the Varooom sound, and the muffler delete, well it makes for nice noises but I would first like to run a complete trim level test and other engine diagnostics with that set up before I render any final opinion.

Agree with Redux...Stock intake is designed for cold air from the factory, why open up filters under the hood to suck in heat? And removing all sources contributing to well needed back pressure just to get some sound out of a 228 HP car is senseless in my opinion - For me, torque comes on my list of needs before sound every day of the week...

All that said - do what you want, if you like the sound but really do not care about effects on performance, have at it sleepy one....

Why would you want to make a Mercedes sound like a civic?

Great Opinions, Appreciate the feedback. Was just curious what others thought on this. Saw it on youtube, and felt like sharing.

Don't like it at all. I'm not a fan of cars trying to sound fast. Being fast is good. Being fast and sounding fast is just as good. Not being fast and sounding fast is posing.

But, as was stated...if you like it then go for it.

while I don't think it sounds like a civic, I do find it obnoxiously loud and that just draws unwanted attention. it just makes the car sound faster than it actually is because i dont think it sounds too bad but its just all noise and no go. maybe its just my speakers but it sounds much deeper than any civics I've heard
