I'm surprised nobody complained about the ECO start/stop yet after 4 pages... that's probably the biggest reason why we can't even overtake corollas off the line.

When a friend sits in your ride for the first time and he sees that nav screen pop up...the look is priceless. I get complements everyday on my car. From little ol ladies to guys in CTS-Vs. A C63 is ideal but I live in the mountains where it snows...alot. A rear wheel drive high power car would sit in my garage for 6 months. So I take my merc to the snow hill and actually enjoy the ride...it also doesnt help that fuel is $5.90 a gallon ($1.55/L) Athough my next ride will be an E63...570 HP and AWD? F-yeah!

- when the dash tells you to check right tail light but it's really the left one that is out
- when you go to change a burnt light bulb only to find out that the connector melted because MB decided to put too thin a ground to the lights.

Mercedes has always been playing catch up. They just FINALLY caught up to the G35 and 335i power output, after what? 10+ years for infinity and 6+ for BMW? Unacceptable.

That's only power output, I was seriously impressed with a test drive on a 2008 G37 when the back up camera was far more advanced than the one my mom's $90,000+ S550.

I'd agree with your statement if it was another negative point for the C class, because when compared, yes, the 3 series interior UTTERLY BLOWS the c class interior away.

Just for clarification, I'm comparing 2009 C300 to 2008 335i coupe interior. Prices were within 5 grand difference when we bought them. Most of the same stuff could be compared for C350.
1. Mechanical seatbelt extenders, awesome.
2. Ambient interior lighting on door sills, something an S class has.
3. REAL leather, smells amazing too.
4. *not interior related, but I had to mention* - Twin turbo inline 6, sounds amazing, 300 hp/tq stock. JB4 G5 380 whp on stock car...I'm stuck here with 228 or a measly 268 if I dropped 5k more. Also not interior related, paddle shifters, true sport mode for auto trans + quick shifting when you want.
5. Superior handling, and comparable ride with non RFT. Tire rack uses 3 series as test car for tires because it is so balanced.
6. The seats have adjustable side bolsters...2013+ S550 has automatic adjusting, not sure about adjustable.
7. Not important - radio buttons are touch sensitive...yes you heard that right, I can lay my finger over a button and it will display the radio station preset information. I press it and it will take me to that preset, kinda useless but so cool.

I've probably left out a couple extra points, and yes, some of these can actually be cons depending on who you are. It's just my personal opinion.

I truly do love my C300, but I constantly regret not getting the C350. I hate being the slowest one on the block, no matter how aggressive and awesome my car looks. It's all bark and no bite. Every one I know(friends) has a faster car than me, except my bud in a 2008 A4, and even then it's super close. It doesn't bother me that much, I don't have to be the fastest...I just don't wan't to be the slowest, the weakest, the one in last place. I apply this philosophy for most everything in my life, I don't ever want to be the guy with the worst grades, worst mile run time, slowest car...Maybe it's just a competition thing.

On the bright side:
One great thing about this car though, same for my bro's 335i, NO ENGINE TROUBLES! These cars are 5+ years old now and *knock on wood* have been great so far.

- When people assume you have a c63 and ask you to do a burn out and you say "I can't, it's awd c300"

- When you debadge and consider it to look better because deep down inside you want people to think its a c350.

This may or may not apply to guys that owns 2008 to 2012 c300, but I would bet most 2013+ c300 owners do not wish that.

Our new c300 with the 3.5L engine go zoom zoom zoom nicely.
