You Know You Own A C300 When...
- You have to put it in sport mode every time you get into the car. (2010+)
- You have to hold the trunk release button for 45 minutes before the trunk lid opens.
- You're walking away from your parked car and you turn around just to look at how beautiful she is one more time.

Let's keep it going guys!

I'm pretty sure not many C300 buyers were expecting too much in the straight line speed department though it is respectable enough for day to day duties.

When you get a bulb out warning and there isn't a bulb out.
Why was this started again? It seems like we're just reminding ourselves of the downsides of the C300. It's quite depressing.

Let's try to bring the mood back up a bit.You know you own a C300 when even though you're not the fastest on the road, you can punch it through a tunnel and the x-pipe puts a smile on your face.

Is that a good mod btw, any links for sound clips etc? Been debating the quad conversion, maybe will do this instead if cheaper. PM please, so as to not mess up the thread. Thank you!

On the bright side
1. You know you drive a C300 when you compare your interior with a 3 series BMW and it completely blows it away
Edit:
You know you drive a C300 when you hit +/- on the touchshift and it changes gears 45 minutes later

I ALWAYS floor it at least once. The only way I wouldn't is if it was in something like a Ferrari, or a zr1 vette. Its important to know what you have, plus horsepower is really a misleading figure, the gearing is just as important. With that said, you don't get a C300 and expect it to be a muscle car. This is designed to be refined and comfortable. Which it is..

So true; mine is in for service/warranty work and the greeter was calling over to his colleagues "hey you gotta come see this"...pretty funny actually...I just hope the tech can drive a manual.
