Headlight issue!

Hey guys, I have a ddmtuning 33watt 6000k hid kit with error cancelers on my car. My drivers side headlight does not work, I plugged the hid kit into the passenger side working headlight and it works fine so there there is no issue with the hid kit.

I tried putting a regular halogen bulb in the non-working drivers side headlight, that does not work either.

I pulled all fuses related to anything involving lighting and they all are fine.

I tested the voltage coming from the connector that the hid kit or halogen bulb plugs into and am getting 3.5-4 volts. I did not not have a chance to check the working headlight to see that voltage yet but I am assuming this is very low.

What could be causing this? A loose wire? or could a relay be bad? which one would be for the headlights.

Thanks

Have you tried switching the ballast or bulbs to narrow down your search?

yes, bulbs are good, ballasts are good, error cancelers are good. Seems to be a loose wire or fuse I guess... but both headlights are on same fuse and it's fine so I don't get why one headlight is getting such low voltage.

Try switching the red and black wire that's connected inside your headlight housing. Those need to be the right polarity for them to work.

the ddmtuning ones only plug in one way, so you cant flip it.

Then you need to start checking for voltage/resistance with a multimeter to eliminate the problem.
