I've had a 2012 C250 sport for awhile now and im going to install the mods4cars box to enable video in motion. What I really want to be able to do it play the movies off of my iPhone or iPad to play through my comand screen. Ive heard that with 2011 this was the 300$ MIP and you were rocking and rolling.

I've been searching google and all the forums and can't find anyone who can really tell me what the intent of aux video is or how to get anything to work on it. Before you ask, I don't have a rear view camera and yes I am trying to hook it up through the aux port and not the iPod or USB cables...

I went to best buy and bought like 100$ in different cables and got the sound to come through but no video.

Can anybody help me?

Yes, but in a way you may not appreciate until it's too late. If you want to watch a movie, pull over, go home, or go to a theater. When you are driving, pay full attention to the driving. Even if you think the VIM is for the passenger, you will be distracted...anyone would be. Next, you might be asking for recommendations for lawyers and body shops, hopefully not hospitals.

Slight digression: You remind me of my almost 30 year old. We used to say we could pick him out in a crowd by the horizontal stripes on his back because when he saw a park bench, he was undeterred by the "wet paint" sign! But, he survived his adventures, so very best wishes to you!
