What tires do you get when you get 18's?

I am in market for 2013 C350, coupe or sedan. I know they come with all-seasons with the 17's. But according to TireRack, they can come with all-season or summer tires when upgrading to 18's. Did any of yours come with summers? I usually like buying a set of summer and winter tires but I am not necessarily fan of RWD. If it comes with summers I'll buy a set of winter tires. But if it comes with all-seasons, I'd have to take those off, and buy summers and winters. Waste of money. If that's the case I'd just order one with 4matic, which I don't really want to do, and stick with all-seasons and summers. I asked my dealer and they told me I didn't get a choice of picking tires, whatever MB fits on the car, that's what I get. If your 18's came with summer tires, let me know. Thanks.

All the dealer has to do is swap wheels/tires to the ones you want with others on the lot. When we were looking at a '12 GLK there were 37 GLKs on the lot with a range of poorly rated to highly rated a/s on the same wheels that they would swap around for us. The specific tire is not on the sticker.

Or make tire choice a condition of sale. Last I checked if you didnt use an MB approved tire would rain in on you so MB must think they are important.

2011 C300 4matic sport
I have a 2011 C300 4matic sport with the (staggered) 18" AMGs. It came fitted with the usual ContiProContact tires, all season tire. Not a particularly bad, but also not a great tire, and a bit noisy as well. I bought a separate winter wheel and tire set (non staggered), and once the OEM Contis are done I will get proper summer tires for the 18" set. From reading here it seems that the Contis start looking a bit long in the tooth after 20,000 miles or so, although some have had them longer.

Ditto on requesting tires, my dealer couldn't (or wouldn't, who knows) change tire preferences on my new car order. In the past, the OEM tires could be Michelins but now they are almost always the ContiPros.
