wheelsnext.com scam, need advice.

I purchased wheel/tire package from Wheelsnext.com who is now out of business. They never sent me center caps!

How would you guys handle the situation?

They have scammed so many people, its sick. Read below:

http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Wheels_Next

It was really a horrid experience. Took almost 2 months to recieve my order. When i did get everything, they sent me the wrong size tires and no center caps. Called numerous times, i was hung up on, on hold for 45+ min when i got through. Never answered emails ect ect.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks fellas.

sounds like you got dealt better than some of those other people who never even received their wheels.

thats why you ALWAYS do research before you drop thousands of dollars into a company/product. #1 rule of buying stuff. RESEARCH AND REVIEWS.

and center caps is probably a small price compared to the wheels...drop all the pieces on the floor and move on I dont think you'll ever get those center caps.

Your right man. I always do research but have no idea why i didnt this time. It is a small loss compared to not getting anything but still, its a loss. I thought the same thing about moving on but like i said, its still a loss and just moving on is like saying "its ok", people work hard to have things like this. Not to mention, they sent me the wrong tire sizes. just not sure of its worth the hassle

I would start by contacting the wheel manufacturer and telling them what happened. See if they will set you up with a set of center caps. Hopefully the wheel company will help you out.

Wow... Agreed, you did fair better than others... So you have wheels but (smaller) tires than you ordered, and no center caps....? Sell them to recover some of your loss, or use another brand or OEM caps in the meantime. Maybe sell only the tires and re-buy the size you originally wanted. That sucks!

Did you pay with a credit card? Charge back, keep the wheels and hang up on them when they call.

Have to agree. I'd charge back the whole thing. If they do correct the mistake and send you the center caps then pay them. At the same time, I feel like you should be able to keep a % just for your wasted time and inconvenience!

I actually ordered some tires and wheels for my Toyota Camry from Wheelnext.com. They were a little slow, but they did come and they were cheap. I am glad I got what I ordered. sounds like some people weren't so lucky. By the way... This was pre-Mercedes vehicle.
