Question Your Favorite Mod Given ONE Choice Only

Which one did you think made the day/night difference to your car, whether it is interior, exterior, engine, whatever it is that was not included when you bought your car.

I know many of us has more than one mod, but if you were to say just one, which one would it be?

I will start. I have 10+ mods on my car but if i were to choose one, it will be the new facelift 2010-2011 side mirror cover

Appearance-wise, I would say tinting.

W204 C220 CDI Manual 2007 RWD Elegance
So far i only added cruise control to my C220 CDI and scheduled window tinting for next week, but I can't imagine anything more important to me than the speedtronic. Since I got it the car is complete :-) the rest is all about fun and feeling good about the car, but the cruise makes it my dream car ;-)

I found that changing the wheels made a huge difference.

I instantly removed the lower side door trim, which doesn't integrate into the front and rear bumpers on the sport model. Gives the car a much more aggressive and cleaner look IMO. Simple to do, about 15 min. a side.

The chrome strip? Do you paint it, take it off, or what? Can you put it back if you don't like it?

I want to do this, but leave the chrome around the windows.

First use your hair drier to heat up the strip. (Use med/high) Then simply cut through the double sided tape using a 15-25lb fishing line, using a sawing back&forth motion towards you, as you slowly cut the entire length. Any residue glue/tape can simply be removed using pure Naphtha ($5 bucks at Home Depot) which will not harm the car, the paint or plastic. Just soak a small terri-cloth with the solution, let it soak onto the left over glue for a few minutes, then use the cloth to gently remove all residue. Wipe clean. Lay on a coat of wax and viola! If you're real careful and take your time getting it off, it should be undamaged. You can replace it anytime, but you'll need to buy some more 3M outdoor double sided tape.

I'm pretty torn between keeping the chrome or removing it. It seem to flow very nicely with white. Do anyone have a pic of before and after in white?
thanks!

Back from a few days of travel...this was the first thread to catch my attention. I work on the premise that cars are primarily to be driven, and only secondarily to be looked at. On that basis, without question, the single best mod was the swap out for Eibach antisway bars...no other mod comes close. But, second would be between thick rim AMG style steering wheel and losing ContiProContacts for Pilot Sport A/S+!

For me it was the x-pipe. The mods I have done to improve the looks and ride and handling are all great but the x-pipe really brings me pleasure at all times from the popping/burbling cold starts to running through the gears.

I have heard by others the Eibach kit makes a huge improvement in an already great handling car. The only draw back is the price of install for the rear.
One of the sponsors is offering a thicker steering wheel for around $300.
Besides my Euroteck CF Front Lip- that's one thing I would love to have.

It's hard to choose one. But this is the order I'd go with for this car : wheels, tint, lowering, front grill black, and cf front lip

To me, wheels and stance make a world of difference on almost any car. Now if I can just save enough scripts to buy me some...

Once I get them, I have a feeling its going to be my OEM 18 AMGs! Especially after seeing MBRedux's car, it looks awesome, especially the wheels. To me the stock height is perfect, at least in that picture with those wheels.

It may be something I just got but haven't had the chance to install. Stance wise I'm going to like it which is what I'm going for. But stance is nothing without wheels but since we can only choose one I'd choose the suspension that I just got but I won't say what but you can probably guess
