Just bought Real View Camera. Need help.

Hey guys,

I've bought a rear camera for my MB, managed to get the A204 820 6097 original one for a good price. I also bought a fakra-rca cable to connect it to Comand. The question is what other cables besides a long RCA-RCA do I need? I followed the DYIs but nobody is mentioning nothing about the cables outgoing from the camera itself. That MB camera has only one cable attached and I don't really know how to connect it to the RCA or the power. Can somebody describe it? It'll ship on Wednesday and I would like to be prepared well for the installation.

This is the camera i managed to get on a sale in a MB dealer in Poland for 120€:

It has only that one cable attached. Can someone provide some more info? And will a 5m RCA cable be enough?

Hello to install the original rear view camera you will need wiring: Α2044404908 & Α2044404808 and module A1645430062.

So the installation of the original camera is different from the aftermarket cameras where you need just the power and ground wires?

you must connect first the wiring from the navi to module then from module to rear sam and rear camera and then need coding with star diagnosis.

Ok, thanks for the info. Managed to return the order before it was sent and bought an aftermarket one which doesnt need the coding and the extra module. Thanks again!
