Where do you keep your manuals?

Glove box is just slightly to small for the manual binder. Where do you put yours?

hmmm. I have a couple of extra manuals the multimedia interface one, and then some multimedia supplement, perhaps thats causing it to be to thick. I didn't spend anytime trying to figure out why it didn't fit, just that it didn't easily fit. I had to smash it in a bit. I will look at it some more tomorrow.

I have the P1 package, so my manual and whatever they supplied in the leather case fits in my door bin It used to be in the trunk, but the nook I kept it at started to fill up with other things.

Under the passenger seat. Fits in the glove box, but then I can't fit anything else in there.

On my iPad. Bits are a lot smaller and lighter than atoms.

Luckily almost all the manuals are available from the website.

Under my trunk lining wrapped in plastic next to my spare tire, I see no reason to take up all that room in the glove when I use it rarely.

I used to keep it in the glovebox, but changed to the spare tire placement in the trunk. Don't use it at all except for service purposes.

. This ^. The hard set is somewhere in my basement on a shelf along with the other OM's for all of our cars, past and present, gathering dust. Our garage is fully digital, with a LAN workstation hooked up to my shop. All operators, service and shop manuals are at my fingertips for each and every car we have. I integrated my iPhone with a direct link to the above in case any of this info is needed while on the road.

I keep the owner's manual in the glove box but it gets scrunched a bit. All the other pamphlets stay in the "leather" pouch that they provided and stays in the house. Glove box isn't big enough for them.

Glove box, but only fits with zipper showing. My large sunglasses case is also in there along with some Garmin mounting hardware.

Mine lives on a shelf, with the PDFs on my iPhone.

It's a shame that MB couldn't integrate the manual with COMAND like BMW has done with iDrive.

Trunk side panel false wall in where you access the tail light assembly. Plenty of room back there and if I find myself needing the manual, I don't have to clear the whole trunk to be able to access it if it was in the spare wheel well.

Put mine where the first aid kit usually goes, first aid kit is relocated to near spare tire.

Another vote for the trunk. I keep it in the small storage area on the left hand side.

Am I the only one who finds it unbelievably stupid that the manual is too large for the glovebox?

Perhaps, because they do fit. Just need to place them carefully, binder side in, along left side of glovebox. Lid closes easily. Sort of like the overhead compartment on a 737.

Oh, it fits, but not properly. It pushes against the lid unnecessarily, which I just find aggravating. As mentioned earlier, you also can't fit anything else if the manual is in there anyway.

It's just bad design.
