Gotchya so can anyone give a sort of outline of things i can do to unlock the power within although a coworker of mine who extremely likes my set up i think those were his words too anyway he said our engine the turbo 4 is the most powerful poduction i4 on the market to date anyone care to divulge and elaborate ..so wat im trying to say is that its already being pushed to its limits as it is i donno

I'm not too sure it's the most powerful i4 engine to date. It had it's start as a racing engine but BMW, Audi, Hyundai and others all produce similar offerings. I had my 2.0 turbo VW GLI engine close to 300 HP. It was actually too much horse power for that drivetrain/suspension. It would have done nicely in a C-Class.
As far as unlocking it goes the ECU hasn't been cracked from what I know. There are occasional reports of a tuner doing it but nothing ever seems to come of it.

....prior to the little MB coupe, I drove a 6M Accord V-6 for 145,000.
I don't see ANY resemblance - MHO now - between the two.
The Honda was a nice looking, swift (14.5 QM), fuel efficient (you would disbelieve the MPG) car; the M-B C250 coupe I purchased CPO is gorgeous, fuel efficient - and so far - trouble free.

And Car and Driver even mentioned here: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...ed-test-review
In reality it's mainly the window line and C-pillar that drew similarities but at the end of the day the C-class coupe is still a great car.

ECU Remapping? Challenge accepted!
I've got so many projects now.. It's hard to keep them straight... Still trying to figure out how to shove some FI into my 350 engine... Also whether I need to change internals.

Still, I wish there was a simple Stage 1 flash. With the ECU being locked there are not going to be any real bolt on upgrades of benefit either.
Yea i cant believe 4 years later still no concrete set up to do no diy write ups nothing that anyone has really done to make the car faster relatively safely... thats why i build the mustang... the aftermarket the knowledge the resources are overwhelmingly abundant... when i decided to go turbo i read up on diys one after the other all day for weeks (crane operator lots of down time and phone usage lol) to the point that i just had to find a reason to stop because the information just never ends...
If they set up an automatic transmission to shift the engine to the point where it is lugging, they are going to have a lot of explaining to do down the road to a lot of owners.

From what I've been reading it sounds like the newer BMWs and Audi's are now programming delays in their transmissions. One BMW guy I know will only go for the older models.

I hurd something about the c250 was originally had no lag but customers complained so they detuned it...

I found that after finding a OEM C63 exhaust and engendering am coup after the front cat and installing a stage 1 cold air intake from burger Motorsport and a tube from evolve-teknic in Victoria the lag is gone from a direct program returne.. it’s adressed the turbo lag and accelerated lag, running ritcher fuel ect I almost have no delayed acceleration lag and plenty more torque available plus it sounds amazing. Wish I could upload a video lol

I’m saying after I had the quad exhaust fitted and engineered, the cars origional Ecu adapts slightly, so I’m told by a few professionals. Now iv had stage 1 cold air and a retune, NOT a piggy pack (because it will revert back to factory) it has completely addressed the lag. The retune they have remapped the cars ecu, it’s now set to higher psi, ritcher fuel mix and also accelerator response timer ect plus I’m sure other things they didn’t want to tell me.
