Scraped Front Underside on Curb
Ok, so I am still adjusting to my Mercedes and it being significantly lower than my previous vehicle, and apparently I was suffering from a short bout of moronity the other day and pulled too far forward scraping the bottom of the front of my car on the parking block.
When I pulled out of the parking spot, apparently it scraped enough that when I got home I noticed paint flaking off the underside of the front plastic piece and a small crack in it. I am not versed in the Mercedes parts so is this piece a part of the whole bumper assembly or is it a separate piece that can be replaced? Either way, what type type of expense am I looking at here in parts alone before I get to the labor costs?
I included a picture showing the piece I am talking about.

Sorry - It's happened to all of us.
Find out who your dealer uses to fix up the their used cars. They will fix it in an hour. Otherwise it's a new bumper plastic.

Welcome to the club, sorry to hear that.
A reputable paint shop will repair and paint your front bumper for 3-400 dollars...get used to the car, wait until you get some annoying rock chips that even Dr. Colorchip just cannot fix, and then have the bumper repainted.

Yeah as mentioned, it might be repairable by body shop, but it's a one piece unit with the bumper. I have my wife backing into spots when she drives the C as you have more clearance in the rear.
